We perform a DFx Analysis on every assembly we build.
We perform a flying probe test on every build we do.
Our software virtually places your parts on the board and performs almost 300 design rule checks on the assembly.
Accommodating for test in your design will pay off in the long run.
Making sure that your PCB design is built correctly can be a complicated process. Most companies will build your design exactly how you have it and then it is up to you to find design issues with the board. At NPI-Plus we perform an analysis on the raw-PCB to ensure the design will function how it was intended. This will save you a lot of time because it reduces the amount of respins you will need to perform before launching the product. Just as important, this design review will save you money.
At this point you have invested heavily in material in the hopes that your board will work the way you intended. But at the prototype phase things don’t always come together the way you wanted them to. Our software will reduce pin to pad layout issues than can cripple your design. There is nothing worse than building 99% of the board, but not having a connector fit properly on the board. Even worse, you just consumed 99% of the material and you can’t even test the design. Our software virtually places the parts on the board and will analyze whether the boards can be built correctly or not.
Once you release your product into full scale production you don’t want to make any major modifications to the assembly. One of the biggest reasons for these modifications are because test capabilities were never designed into the board. The prototype phase is the perfect time to start considering your test strategy. With our software you will be able to identify nets that are not tested and introduce test points for each net so that you can test the units in full scale production. Our reports provide clear detail on why the net is failing and what needs to be done to get the net tested.
The Bill of Material software that we use contains almost all of the information you may need regarding the components on your BOM. The software can provide you with one report that contains all of the Material Declarations in one place. The software can also provide the status of Conflict minerals for every component. The software can even check with distributors and verify if there is currently stock available for all of the components listed on your Bill of Material.
